Some of the finest lamb and pork you'll find here come directly from Ben and Gemma’s own outdoor-reared animals on their farm in Bisley, while the rest is sourced from other small, local farms that share their commitment to ethical and sustainable practices.

A Passion for Farming and Quality Produce: The couple’s journey to farming is as inspiring as the produce they cultivates. Ben, a former plumber, made the life-changing decision to switch careers, embracing the farm life to improve his family’s quality of life. With a passion for free-range farming and local produce, the duo lives by the motto: "If you enjoy what you do, you'll never work a day in your life."

After several years of farming, Ben and Gemma decided to open Harefield Farm Shop to share the fruits of their labour with the community. Customers quickly fell in love with the exceptional quality of their produce, whether it's fresh ingredients for a Sunday roast or everyday essentials that celebrate the best of local agriculture.

A Community-Focused Shop: In December of last year, Harefield Farm Shop became part of Moss End Garden Village, a move they describe as a natural fit. Having attended the village’s car boot sale for 18 months, they jumped at the opportunity to secure a unit and join the thriving community of traders. "It’s a really nice community," Ben shares, "and it’s been great getting to know the other traders."

The shop is more than just a place to purchase fresh produce—it’s a space where connections are made, and customers are treated like family. Ben and Gemma take pride in the rave reviews from customers who appreciate the quality and care that goes into every product. "Our farm is everything about us, and we love it," The couple says with heartfelt enthusiasm.

A Butcher's Partnership: Adding to the shop’s appeal is its collaboration with A Potter and Daughter Butchers, co-located within Harefield Farm Shop. Alex, the butcher, met Ben and Gemma years ago while butchering meat on the farm, and their friendship has grown into a thriving business partnership. Alex’s award-winning sausages are made using meat from Harefield Farm, ensuring customers get the very best.
