Wrap up warm and head to Moss End Garden Village to get into the festive mood this December. With a whole host of stalls, shops and food to explore you’ll find something for everyone.

We’ve put a call in to Father Christmas who will be making a special visit to wish everyone a Merry Christmas, and we’ll also have a visit from Buzz Bee!

In addition, we’ve planned some great activities including:

• Reptile Handling Session & Talk: The Jungle Reptiles will be running a Reptile Handling Session and Talk so come on down to meet their cold-blooded friends and find out more about these amazing creatures. 🦎
• Birds of Prey Talk & Show: Feathers and Fur Falconry Centre will be running a Birds of Prey Talk and Show, come and meet our feathered friends and find out more about these amazing creatures. 🦅 🦉
• Christmas Carol Choir: it wouldn't be a festive event if we didn't have Christmas Carols to sing along to!
• Coffee Discovery Experience with Moneyrow Beans: if you like coffee then you’ll love this tasting experience and a chance to see how coffee beans are roasted to make that perfect blend.
• Boerewors Rolls from The Biltong Emporium: Our mouths are watering 🤤 as we think about the Boerewors Rolls that will be on sale at the Christmas Market. The lovely people at The Biltong Emporium are preparing this traditional South African street food, tasty sausage made from beef mince, pork fat and spices. 😋
• Festive Biscuit Decorating: the team at Robyn’s Nest are baking some tasty biscuits ready for decoration so get planning your designs now!
• Christmas Wreath Making: Lilly & Wild, flower installation designers based here at Moss End, are running wreath making workshops throughout the day – a chance for you to get creative and design something magical for your front door.
• DJ Christmas Beats: some cracking music to bring the festive atmosphere and maybe a chance for you to have a boogie as you browse the stalls!

We will be raising money on the day in support of The Thames Hospice, a local charity that exists to provide and support the best palliative and end-of-life care services, giving dignity and comfort to those facing a terminal illness.
